My educational journey in higher institutions of learning include West Texas A&M where I earned a bachelor’s degree while playing basketball on full athletic scholarship, Emporia State University where I received a master’s degree while serving as the recruiting coordinator of the Women’s Basketball program, and UT-Arlington where I obtained principal certification in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Other school districts I spent time as a Science Teacher and Head Girls’ Basketball Coach include Fort Worth and Kennedale ISD. I was an Athletic Coordinator and Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at Mansfield High school for 7 years before becoming a campus administrator.
Over the course of 5 years before IISD, I worked at Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield ISD as an Associate Principal of Academics, Associate Principal of Facilities, and an Assistant Principal.
